It won't be a 460, unless someone swapped it in. 460's only came in f250's and up. So normally it's going to be a 302 or 351w. But some people are not "normal", and it could have anything in it, including a chevy engine.

Is the distributor up front? How many bolts hold the valve cover on?

The distributor is in front - 6 bolts hold down the valve covers

You have a 302 or a 351 windsor. The difference between the two is A 351W has a taller deck height 9.5" inch vs. 8.2" inch for the 302. It has 1/2" inch head bolts instead of the 302's 7/16" inch head bolts. The easiest way to tell is do the heads go onto the block almost touching the timing cover, or is there about an inch space between the heads and the cover? heres a photo if that doenst all make sense to you. This is my 351 Windsor.
