Dont laugh!
Ok, was on way home with my '98 e-350/v10 and went by the Ford dealer. Saw the new 2008 vans in lot and turned around to get a closer look. I laughed when I saw the grill / hood on the 1992 design. My wife and kids agreed and chuckled as we left the parking lot. 1/4 mile away as we got on the interstate, bang! and then a sound like a popcorn machine...... Blew out a plug!!!!!!! Son of a beach!!! That'll teach me! Ended up with a 50 mile tow and in-laws let us borrow mini-van to get home. About $300 for repair with a new plug, COP, boot and helicoil.......

If you unplug what's left of the cop, and unplug that cylinder's fuel injector, I would think you could limp it home that way. Unfiltered air would be flowing in and out of the cylinder so that would be a consideration if the distance was far...
