Is your truck OBD2? Some 97's are and some aren't. I bought a tuner for mine before checking and found out that mine isn't OBD2. So I have a tuner I dont need.

If your truck is OBD2 it will have a diagnostic port (plug in) under the dash towards the center hump closer to the drivers side. This is where you plug the tuner in to download a tune.

You dont have to remove or take anything apart. It should be very obvious. Look just under the lip of the dash. It should be black and about 2.5 inches long. There wont be anything connected to it.

Superchips makes one. I can get it for you if you want. I need to confirm, but I think it runs ~$399.

im nearly positive the one that i found was a hyperchip or superchip, they wont say that they are specificly for the 460 and thats it, they work with alot of stuff you just need to get the right program.
