any thing, just depens on how much work you want to do...bolt in, fab up? the possibilitys are endless...do you have 4x4? most common is dana 60. i have heard of dana 44 but am not familar with it...the onlyproblem is solid axles are usaully held up by leafs on stock apps, and your app is coils. im sure it can be done.......but my truck is a 250 where it is a simple bolt up install...maybe somebody will chime in that has done this to a 150. you can get a 60 from any f-350 that i know of from 80 to 97...preferably from a single tire truck...

only bolt in setup is from the current dana 44 TTB to a dana 44 straight axle which can be found in 1977.5-1979 broncos and f150s. im going to do one to a Dana 60 and am struggling with the logiostics of swapping the truck to leaves or the axle to coils.
keep in mind that with a D60 front and an unchanged stock 8.8 rear you will have 5 lugs rear and 8 lugs front if that matters to you...im swapping both axles so it doesnt affect me (sterling 10.25 rear D60 front)
