dog house????? if it is the front clip, yes it can be done and is a common upgrade, i am waiting on a donor truck to replace mine with. you will need the radiator support and everything up to the cowl to replace. everything meaning the sheet metal and lights, fenders, etc

Been in that doghouse a few time myownself........
Everything from the frame up and grill to the firewall has to be changed......body shops/boneyards call it a front clip.......but be careful.......they don't always supply the rad. support and header panel with it. The newer cab should bolt in to existing mounts......good time to check and clean/de-rust and paint the frame too.
