I think my CPS is going out, but need some help in making sure. When I'm driving the truck kinda of hesitates and stalls. It just started, thankfully at the end of a 1600 mile trip. But I have another 500 mile trip Sunday, so I need to get it fixed tomorrow if at all possible.
So, you truck does not lose all RPM and come to a stop. Because that would be fuel related. It hiccups and keeps going untill the next hiccup. That would be the CPS. If I'm not correct somebody else will chime in with the correct solution
Ok, I changed the CPS out and it rand good for a while. Now it's back to doing the samething again. Now it dosen't do it when the cruise is on, but any time you just use the pedal it does it. Could this be the switch on the pedal? I just replaced it a couple of months ago, I know it can go out, but does this sound like it did?

If it only does it while using the pedal, then it's most likely the pedal assembly.
But there have been cases of the wiring to the pedal that have been the fault.
Either way, you've narrowed it down for yourself on where to look.
