Custom SCT Tune...

First off... Hello, my name is Chris and this is my first post... Now, on to my question. I know how touchy these types of questions can be but I will ask it anyways. I own a 2004 Mercury Marauder and purchased an SCT tuner and a custom tune from Reinhart Automotive in FL (he is the S*** when it comes to tuning the Marauders)... I now have a 2005 F250 superduty with the 5.4 and was curious about where to purchase a similar tune. Something that tightens the shifts, increases throttle response, performance etc...

Any recommendations? Who has the best "out of the box" tune for the 05 Superduties? No flames... Just looking for advice. It is a company truck, so I need to be able to reload the stock tune if neccesary... - C

I have a 2005 F250SD, and in fact was going to ask a similar question, I have the 5.4L V8, and tow a lot, so I'm looking for one with a tow mode, fuel economy and 87 octane performance mode...I know there's predator, SCT, and superchips, but don't know which is best and was looking for opinions. Being able to return to stock is also a necessity

The SCT programmer is hard to beat on Fords. I know a few guys that use the Predator and really like that one, especially for improved gas mileage. How they are used varies, but both are solid products with good companies behind them.

SCT is about to discontinue their model II. The model III is available, as is their LiveWire.

Here's a link where you can compare some features and prices:
