"Wire Rub" problem areas? Need some pointers!

I would always rather do preventive maintenance vs. (?) when I have a few extra minutes. The next thing I want to check out is "wire rub areas". If any of you know problem areas for my 2000 7.3, I would really appreciate the input. I'm sure others seeing this thread would also. I've picked up on some but most were for 99's. Thanks in advance!!

I haven't really found any big problem areas as most everything is in a loom already. One thing that is a rubbing problem is the intercooler tubes. There is a/c line that rubs the drivers side tube and a wire loom that chaffs against the passenger side tube.

Check your main engine harness around the drivers side shock tower, and also where it makes the connection to come over the drivers valve cover.

Yes! Definitely look here. I had a problem with loss of accelerator signal and the problem was a wire rubbing up against the shock tower.
