fuel filter

I have an 86 Ranger with the 2.9L I've heard that they use two fuel filter's is this right or did I hear something wrong. Thanks

I can only speak for my own 86 2.9 Ranger, and I have only 1 filter which is a cartridge style by the tank.

I think they have one filter, but two fuel pumps...

Thanks for the replies. I changed the filter the other day and yes I could only find one. Mine was the canister type I guess some of the models had the other type of fuel filter as well.
