New Hood

I got the aftermarket hood being painted.. Install is next week.. I was going to keep my old steel hood but now I'm wondering.. It's going to be a pita to find somewhere to put it where it won't get messed up.. Anyone with aftermarket hoods, did ya'll keep your steel hood? If I was to sell it, what would you sell one for? I'm kinda stumped on what the used value of a painted hood is lol..

I sold mine to my dad's buddy after he hit a street sign and trashed his. I don't remember what I got for it though. Looks like a new one runs $300 from DirectFordParts, so I would think $200-250 wouldn't be too hard to get.

I always kept truck hoods because they make the PERFECT sled!!! NObody had a sled faster than me and they have the greatest amount of "whip" effect around turns!!

Bolt it to the undercarriage so everyone can see the unicorn. Hell of a non-functional skidplate. lol

Hey Storm... I thought of you the other night when I saw a new 2008 Center Console on eBay with a Buy-it-Now price of $180.

I still have mine, it sat in the garage for a few months and has made it's way to the shed. I thought about selling it.

T'heck with the unicorn and chick, these hoods need some hell'n flames on them!
