Sweet thank you very much, it is for SRW, the 06 in my sig. I tried to give you some rep points, but i get the "you must spread rep points around" before i can give you any more.
Are the Load/Inflation table books only available to tire dealers etc or can they be purchased somewhere?
Thanks for the info Redford...good post! I have been running 60 in mine and the other day I turned left on a just rained road and it spun about 45 degrees before I could get it right. Will an additional 10 psi keep it from doing this?
08 F250 PSD CC Ford recommends 75 psi cold but my tires are only rated for 65psi cold????
Do you have factory tires? If so they are rated for 80 psi max.
If you do not have factory tires we need to know what size you are currently running. Knowing your factory tire size and psi's listed on the door would also be helpful.

Are you saying that on the "Tire & Loading" sticker on the B-pillar of your truck it says to inflate the tires to 75psi, but the max pressure listed on the sidewall of the tires on your truck is only 65psi? Are your current tires OEM factory installed?
Sorry for the lack of info guys...BFGoodrich All-terrain T/A-KO...LT 305/55R20's on 20" XD rockstars flat black. Should I be running at max tire Pressure? (which is 65psi cold)

I have a similar setup, my truck reccomended 65psi for the 275/65/18 conti's now I have 305/65/18 BF Goodrich All-Terrain KO's, when I got the truck from Discount I drove it around for a day or two (no more than 30miles) and hated the ride it felt very squishy and on corners it would feel 'loose' I checked the air pressure and they had 45psi, I bumped it up to 60psi and they feel great. Is this too much pressure? I would have put the full 65psi in there but I figured I was running them high as it was...

Please list your OEM factory installed tire size, then we can help you. Partial information will not help us give you the correct answers.

LT305/65R18E (617 revs/mile)
Load at max inflation 65psi = 3525lb.
I don't have access to a Load/Inflation table for this tire as it is a relatively new size. Hopefully PowerStrokeHD will see this as he may have the table.
This info was provided to me by BFG through their customer service system. First I e-mailed, they provided a phone number to call. Spoke to a supervisor and this is the info they provided.
I'm running a 2008 F-350 CC LWB with the diesel.
Front axle weight is 5460lbs
Rear axle weight is 3680lbs
Total weight is 9140lbs
Front psi is 55lbs
Rear psi is 50lbs
Yes, ride is somewhat comfortable. I'm 55 years old, I kind of like it. I don't notice any steering problems. No obvious over/understeer and no bump steer. I will be adding 5psi before I leave for Colorado to hunt in a couple of weeks.

Based on those Load/Inflation numbers, 55psi would take you back to the FMC weight ratings. Note it has been discoverd, and FMC put a TSB out on it, that running to low of a tire pressure (ie below OEM specifications for Load/Inflation ratings) on the coil spring front SD will result in excessive steering wheel oscillation (Death Wobble) when going over some bumps.
BTW Scriv, running 60psi shouldn't be a problem, you may get a little center tread wear so watch your tires, if you need to you can drop down to 55psi.
I doubt it, you just need a better wet traction tire.
I am running Michelin 265/75/R16 with 60psi all around. Like the the tires alright
except they are not good on wet roads, especially if it has just rained a little.
What brand is a good rain tire? Had Pirelli's on my other F250 and they seemed more stable in the rain, however it was 2WD, which I guess makes a difference.
Anyone running the All Terrains? I'm running 285/70-17's and I just installed them. I haven't had a chance to find the "right" tire pressure...
I am running BFG All terrain TA KO's 285/70r-16's and I have found the best pressure is at 70psi front and back. I have also ran them at 5psi increments between 50 and 80psi to find the best ride quality and still have good tire wear. At 70 psi I wear the centers on the rear tires a little more than the fronts but the ride quality is much better. Less air in them makes the ride too mushy and unresponsive wile running them at 80psi makes it feel like your riding a rock! Try 70psi and see how you like it.
