Help!!!
Hello all. I need some advice on a broken fuel line. 1985 F250 6.9L. The steel line going from the IP to the #? injector (driver's side, closest to the front of the truck) snapped off at the injector pump. I'm guessing a little too much movement by me when replacing the return fuel line system caused it to weaken and it broke about a week later. Now I can't find these lines anywhere except my dealership, with a 5 day wait for $75 a pop. Ouch! I am hoping to fix it by tomorrow so I can make opening day for rifle season Saturday. Can I buy these online? If so, where? Or even better, is this something that a local shop can manufacture? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
An afterthought: that fuel line connects on the bottom of the IP, and I can't figure out how to get a wrench on it without removing ALL the lines above it. I barely got a crowsfoot on it with a universal joint and extensions, but ended up with the U-joint at almost 90 degrees because of the intake manifold, so I can't get any torque on it to remove it. Any tips?

If you break the line can you get a socket on it.... no need to remove the IP....... do you have the line clamps in the right places required. You should NOT bend the lines as they will flake internally and chit will go into the injector.. or as you have found out break off.
These folks have the cheapest new line price or the wreckers for used..........

Thanks for the link. I found the part, but I don't know what the cylinder number is... closest to the grill on the driver's side?
Also, I do have the line clamps installed, but I am not sure what you mean by "If I break the line can I get a socket on it"... Please explain? As soon as I figure out the cylinder number I am going to order the line from mwfi.
