Speed Sensor (VSS)

i have a rear ani-lock light on the dash. i was told to remove the rear VSS and clean it and put it back in. If that doesnt work, then replace it. My question is, how do i get it out? What tool, any tricks? the truck is a 90 f-250

It is held in with one bolt.
No special tools.
May want to turn it a little to get the "O" ring broke free.
Does break easy.

Hey, just a quick FYI. Check your tail lights. I just finished trouble shooting the ABS light on my 1990. Changed the VSS, etc. Never even thought to check the tail lights to make sure they were all good. Turned out to be a loose connection for em.
