y pipe f250
i have a 97 f250 hd with a 7.5l and my y pipe gont bent at where it meets the exauhst manifold and now it sounds like a diesel because it leaks. does anyone know where to get a cheap y pipe or an easy fix. the cheapest y pipe i could get is 140 bucks.

I have the same issue but i have a 302 and i have a y pipe as well. It seems to sound like a tractor when it runs and the sound is coming from the tranny hump in the cab. it's causing a slight loss of power, but has no effect on gas mileage. Any ideas?

its probably a laeaky manifold or a bent y pipe coupler like mine. i found my leak by taking the inner fender well off on the side the noise came from and fired it up and found the noise and felt the exauhst coming out
