From what I understand the guy who bought it had one that was within a year of the red C800 - not really sure what his plans are with it, but I can get you his contact info if you like - I have no idea how attached he is to it, or how serious he is about it, but I suppose you could ask.
I wouldn`t mind a contact, for now it will have to be on the back burner but never forgotten.
I think it would be the ultimate old time ride powered by a 7.3!
Glad to help - would be an awesome ride with a little TLC - as you could tell not much body work to worry about either. I've got some good memories of that truck.
Not having owned anything older than a 69ish vehicle.... that truck looks great for its age...the interior even looks good, dirty but all there and not a big mess of springs with blankets covering them.. even the body looks cool....that truck speaks to you...

Thats what I sort of envisioned - would make an awesome retro looking slide back tow truck.
