I need to put Caster/Camber adjusting bolts on my truck to get the front end lined up. I was wondering if there were any tricks or procedures I need to know about before I do it. It looks like a pretty easy job to me but I don't want to overlook anything. It's a 99 F150 4wd. Thanks!
Its not bad, pretty easy. Just start on one side, jack-up and put on jack stands under lower control arm. Take one out at a time, and replace with the new cam bolts, adjust the cam where it sets against the stops, but dont move the control arm in or out, lock it down. Do the other one on that side. What you want to do is keep it close to where it was when you started, so you can still drive it to the shop to get an alignment without wearing out your tires. Good luck !
