Which Supercharger For the money

I'm thinkin about supercharging my old ford..i have a 79 f150 with a 92 5.0 Roller Motor and i didnt have the computer for the efi so i put a carb and intake on it...well im curious of which supercharger i could put on it for about 1500..not alot but all my operating capital right now...any and all help would be appreciated Thanks

Paxton makes a nice blow-thru kit for carb'ed 302's but you arent going to get it for $1500. Better check ebay, cause new this kit is $3500. I dont think there is any new kit you can get for $1500 or under. Good luck in you quest.

I know you can pick up cheap turbos off ebay, might be your best bet because you cant get much for 1500

thanks..i might just leave it like it is for now..i was looking at some procharger kits that bolt on where my powersteering is but they are around $3500 might just put my money back and wait awhile.

sorry to dig up an old post, but this one fit my questions.....

I have a 79 2wd 302, and found a brand new b&m 144 supercharger for under 1500...I have a edelbrock 600 waiting to go on the truck, but was wondering on this lil 144, and how streetable it will be. not looking for big power, just a lil upgrade to help the old girl move.

thoughts??

The B&M 144 would be perfect for a mild street engine.

well i ended up missing out by mere minutes...so i guess i will wait and see what happens in the future with work, and all that jazz.
