I have a 1996 f-250 and was wondering how i could bypass the speed limiter..Also does anyone know how fast the speed limiter is set for becasue the speedo goes up to 85 and i hit the **** stopper and thats probally like 90 and than it starts bouncing off the **** thing...
I don't think the 96 had a speed limiter, my 03 does and you know it when you hit it. It starts killing cylinders and it just falls flat on its face, also sets a code if you do it enough.
The truck has a 460 v8 in it and it goes and than stops goes and than stops it sorta of like bucks...The mph will drop a little than it will pick back up..
