need help guys!!!
ok heres my problem my truck starts and when i put it into gear and hit the gas it doesnt want to move it acts like it wants to go forward but when u let the gas go its like it clicks out of gear and drifts back, and when under the truck i put it in reverse and didnt heat the gas and the drive shaft was spinning the way it would be for going forward but when i hit the gas it stops and spins the right way, i dunno what it is, but i swore i could smell transmission fluid like burning or something??? wth lol i dunno

First things first, pull your dipstick, and check your fluid level. Then look at the color of the fluid, and smell it. If it doesn't smell like it just came out of the bottle, and it looks dark red, replace it all. Drop your pan, do the filter, drain the torque converter. Take a picture of all the junk in the bottom of the pan. While you have the pan off, install a drain plug, a magnet and a temp guage (if you are a 4x4 or tow alot). Slap on an inline transmission fluid filter as well.
If that doesnt fix it, grab your ankles, time for a rebuild.
FYI, if your trans starts slipping out of the blue, add 2 quarts of fluid, that should get you going again, assuming you were low on oil, and cant check the level.
