Sheetmetal interchange question.

I have a 1992 ford ranger.I had a front end collision.I was wondering if I could take a 1987 ford ranger and transfer the whole front cap fenders hood radiator support and evrything connected to it.I know it would look different but I was just wondering if it was possible.Eric.

I asked that same question about swapping 1990 sheetmetal to an 83-87 Ranger. Only got one response. Hopefully this isn't the only reply you'll get.

In looking at LMC Truck's catalog, it looks like a front clip (grill, radiator support, fenders and hood) would fit. Have you checked with a local salvage yard to see if they have a cross reference that supports this observation?

I am going to transfer the whole clip.And also the inner structure where everything attaches to it.

I completely forgot about LMC Trucks. It's a good site to figure out what parts fit which year. Looks like a lot of work to switch front clips but definitely do-able.
