What are your feelings about orange???

Ok, the little woman voted, she likes the sand color and the trim better(racetrack). When I told her that some of the trim is extinct, and the rest of it is around $800, she said nevermind. When I showed her the supercab, with all of the fancy trim on the tailgate, she said "that looks nice" then I told her how much the individual pieces were, she told me "looks like you wont be buying trim any time soon.
This is a sharp truck BTW, if I had the money, I would spend more than my usual allowance, I'd give at least 8-10K on this one.
The little woman confiscated my parts truck I bought, said it was the nicest thing I have brought home all year. Now I am back to square one on finding a clean grille/shell and front bumper.
Here is the current paint in better light. It is AMAZING that the Duplicolor 500* Hight Temp Chevrolet Orange is such a close match. About 1/3 of the hood is factory paint, the rest rattle can. If I were to buff the overspray, and do the surface prep correctly, this paint could pass for factory.
For those curious (and after my last rub it in thread) I gave $750 for this one. It has a knocking rod, just about everything is neglected on it, and almost everything leaks on it. I found it on craigslist under "2 fer sale." It had been sitting for about 4 years prior to the rescue. (everything I have bought has been a field rescue) I spent about 3 hours trying to get it running, got it going, it had a nasty rod knock. I still could not talk him down any. I drove her home, lost the master cylinder after about 5 miles. Fixed it in the Autozone parking lot, Got home at 11:30 PM. So far I have rebuilt the brakes, (the rear axle had about a pint of oil in it), rebuilt the carb that floods the motor with gas when off, and blasted about 10 pounds of grease caked onto the undercarriage. The motor leaks like a seive, the power steering looses about 1/2 pint every 10 miles outta the steering box, hell, about the only thing that doesn't need help is the transmission. I know its been re-done, there is a filter on the cooling lines, and they cut the bottom of the frame to get the cross member out. They were too lazy to take the gas tank out...
Normally I would not have even taken money from somebody to take this off of their hands, it is in terrible condition. The saving grace for me was the crew cab specific items were in excellent condition, and the body has no rust on it. I only recieved one crew cab fender badge, in poor condition, so I am adding that to my list of things to try and find...

Go for the bright orange, no two tone (unless you find trim to cover the transition), and paint the steel wheels gloss black. I'm going to paint my '92 F150 reg cab longbed bright orange. It'll look sweet with its black wagon wheels. I think old trucks look good in pretty much any color, but I really like an orange truck.
