What color is the spark at the coil wire with a screwdriver stuck in the wire about a 1/8 or so from a ground point? How are your plug wires? Take a spray bottle of water out at night and spray the wires from dist. to plugs and turn off all lights, start truck, look for arcing from wire to wire, wire to metal, or wire to low voltage wires. You may need to reroute, add standoffs or put split loom over them!! Put your plug wires on your multimeter they should measure 5000 ohms per foot, If it's off that, you will not have the correct spark strength.
Put a fuel pressure gauge on it, and see if the pressure stays up after you turn the engine off. If it leaks down, you could have a fauly fuel regulator, a leaky injector, or a bad check valve in the fuel pump. This will let the fuel system drain, so you have to crank and crank to fill it back up. You could also test this theory by turning the key on and off to the run position to let the pumps prime a couple of times. If that seems to help, then I would suspect that might be the problem.
