My Dealer called friday and said the order says that my new 08 is scheduled to arrive on November 7th...... so how accurate is their projected schedule?

 

looks like your getting a NEW truck this week.

 

I am new to this forum and after much investigation between the Dodge 6.7L and the New Ford SD (not interested in chev car/trucks ) I ordered a 2008, F350 4X4, 6.4L, 6 speed maunal crew cab short box with a 3:73 gear. I placed the order on September 11, the dealer has provided a serial number. It has been seven weeks now and I am stuck driving the wife's magic bus (mini-van). The dealer tells me the truck is in a Ford staging area in New Jersey waiting for a trucking schedule. I remain optomistic that I will recieve the truck next week. I hope to be posting regularly regarding my experiances with the truck once I have something to talk about. Fuel mileage will be a big one... I viewed the blue oval site but I did not see any indication of a serial number seach, I will look again.

My local dealer still doesn't have any information on my truck order. Based on what I have been reading, I would think my truck would be here (SoCAL) around the end on November ? Or has the build leadtime been delayed that much ?
