I have a few questions on service manuals. What is a good reliable brand, and easy to use. I also have some questions pertaining to the 50 series tractors. Any help would be appreciated!
Whoa ! Thats not a very small tractor. What's the biggest?
My friends farm always has OEM IH manuals.
Easy to get if you are persistant. We got them from a swap meet vender out of Ia.
I could get info from business card if you need.(for out of print ones.)
Of course E-bay works too.

I looked on e-bay and did not see any for the 50 series tractors(5488, 5288, 5088). There are a couple of places on the web that sell an after market manual for about $30.
Not sure if this will help you this time, but here's a link that has lots of exploded parts diagrams. I've found a lot of times that the parts diagram is all I need to figure out the rpoblem I'm working on. May not be enough for you in this instance if you need specs and such., but it's good link to stash away. And the numbers should match up with your dealers books. Look for the link under "Off Site Parts Search"
