I have a '67 390 car engine 2bbl in my 72 F250 4x4. I haven't started this engine yet, but i did put it in the truck. I was looking at it and i noticed it doesn't have a harmonic balencer behind the 2 grooved belt crank pully. Is that suppsed to be like that? I have a 76 F350 with 360 2bbl and it has a balancer. I'm wondering if something is wrong here or if that engine didn't come with one. Any help would be great.

Jeff it has one, it’s just real thin and doubles as the inside pulley. You can use it or the fatter damper from ’68 and up like your '76, whichever one lines up best pulley-wise.
