Injector Parts source?
Plans for this truck are to eventually upgrade to the ATS turbo outlet/downpipe and a Powerstroke exhaust. Is it worth it to run bigger injectors? My only plans for the injector pump are to maybe increase the fuel rate after the ATS upgrade. My goal is to increase fuel mileage, if that yields a more powerful rig, so much the better.
So, being new to IDI diesels, can any of you recommend a parts source for injectors/fuel return lines & Ts/ glow plugs?
Any recommendations on brands? I read somewhere about matched injectors (huh?) any value in that?
Thanks in advance for reading my post and any help you can provide.

Is this reasonable prized?
Are the Delphi oki's , just thinking of the GP's where
to avoid Autolite's ?.

You will need a return line/injector install kit also........ New ZD9 GPs at Azone online $2.99 each apparently, might as well do it all while your there........
The previous owner had just replaced the injection pump with a rebuilt unit, so I assumed the problem was somewhere else. Les Schwab did the work. My next thought was maybe a bad lifter, but I really didn't want to tear into it. It ran, and so I just lived with it, but that knock drove me nuts.
Two year later (2009) I decided to buy the tools to time the truck to see if it was timed correctly. Glad I did because the factory setting is 8.5º BTDC ±1º. The truck was set at 2º BTDC, by Les Schwab. Correctly setting the timing dramatically improved the power and fuel economy. The knock was quieter, but still there.
Fall of 2010 I decided to pop for a new fuel injection pump figuring that the International Fuel Systems rebuilt pump must be bad, and I was finally willing to throw cash at the problem to find out. I ordered a rebuilt pump from Oregon Fuel Injection and they shipped it the same day.
After installing it and timing it to 9.5º BTDC, I’m very happy. The knock is gone. FINALLY. The truck drives like a new one, and makes tons of power now. I enjoy driving it now better than the 2005 twin turbo 6 speed Dodge I have on loan for two years.
Just thought I’d close the loop on this.
