Donahoe was using deaver springs but I think they started using their own set up. So it doesnt matter. I dont know the waranty on the deaver's but they should have life time against sagging like donahoe has.

correct. the older DR kits used deaver springs, which had a lifetime warrantee against sagging. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

now DR makes their own springs, to the same specs as the deavers. i just spoke w/ DR @ the off road expo and the also warrantee their springs for life. although i know w/ deaver if bought directly from them will work w/ the spring rate for you to tune your ride. not sure if DR will do that.<o></o>

Actually the specs of the two springs are a bit different. The new DR springs feature improved (softer) spring rates and rears springs are dual rate with overload leafs on the bottom of the stack. The DR springs also feature larger bushings and oe style leaf separators to insure long lasting smooth operation. These are still backed by DR's lifetime warranty.

Let me know if you would like any more specific information.

DR's 4.5" is a hanger and shackle setup.

DR has a 4" spring and you can run the 5" rear springs with no block for a slightly rear end high stance.
And yes, I do know pricing.....
Don't think I can post it in the forums though...

Is there leveling kit shackle or add a leaf? They quoted me ALOT for a front 6 or 5.5 whatever the call it. This was a while back though. Sure the 4 is pretty close to ALOT

They have a 2" mini spring pack and a 3" leveling hanger and shackle.

The price drop in the springs was a pretty decent one....so it knocked ~$360 off of the price of an all spring kit.

I had Deavers on my suburban and was very impeessed. My friend had an all spring Donahue kit and it was the same, before they started making they're own stuff. If you haven't experienced the difference you won't believe it.

DC when you say you can run their 5" rear leaf with no blocks is that really possible? i though you had to have stock blocks.

With a 4" lift?

Yeah, you'd want to run the DR 5" rears with no block.

The DR 5" rears with a F-350 block is what is used on the rear of trucks that have the DR 8" fronts....
