Hi ! I have a question. My 1999 Ford f-350 dually has factory alum. wheels like most do. I have heard that they are sprayed with a clear coat of some kind. Mainly to help hold their shine. Does anyone know if this is true. If so what type of coating is it ??? Thanks

I posted the same question before but no response. Apparently they are sprayed with a clear and I don't know how to fix unless you have them done. They will re-finish them with the clear coat. I was looking for a fix but no one had one. At least no one responded. I use the tire wet (I think) on the tires and the overspray got on the rims once and it didn't look too bad.
