1999 key dinger wire
On a 1999 will having the wire going to the key switch unhooked hurt any thing? The one that hooks on the bottom and the key grounds to sound the chime when the key is in? The dinger was driving me insane, and after finding said wire and fooling with it, it came out, actually broke, so i said hummm, taped it up, left it hangin, and put the plastic back on it.. No more dinger and all seems well, but thought i would ask? Is this wire unhooked gonna make any of the computers mad? Or do any funny things? If not it is staying unhooked.. So anybody know??
