I have no idea what the stock wire would be. But the choke wire is attached to a 12volt key power wire. so when the key is on that wire has power.
yea but is that goin to be the only 12v power wire under the hood that is a single wire?? i really dont wanna mess anything up with this i have already fixed most the wiring problems with it... i dont wanna do it again and my luck i will have to i gotta fix the dang head light wire that burns up on these things... ty for the info tho

It will be ONE wire for your choke. the ground for the choke is just attached to the carb body under one of the screws. So I guess if you want to find the stock wire. Turn the key on an poke and prod with a volt meter. Then turn the key off and see if it has power.
Don't know about your 351 but on '83 F350 and others the choke heater is supplied by a White/Black wire from the alternator stator (S) terminal. Voltage only when alternator is turning.
