57 F100 project
I have acquired a nice 57 F100 fleetside body - with extra stepside bed and 460 engine and trans on a skid. There is not, unfortunately, a good Kentucky title included.
As much as I would like to think "restoration", there are too many impediments for me - like life isn't going to be long enough.
Can anyone suggest a Ford frame - preferably 80's or earlier that would be reasonable for this project? I would like to mount the 57 cab and stepside bed.

Nice to see another "Orphan Years", '57-'60, truck owner.
But, our trucks are called "STYLESIDE" or "FLARESIDE", as trade marked by FoMoCo, Brand-X's are called "Fleetside" & "Stepside", as trade marked by GM.
Alrighty, another Modder, I'll just back out of this rather slowly, as I'll be of No help what-so ever!
I will state this though, There Is No Easy Frame Swap, because No modern frame matches-up what-so-ever w/ the '57-'60 Cab & Bed, so there'll be Lots of Cutting & Welding in your near future, Period, End Subject & it'll take a Lot Longer to Complete than a Resto.
