Clutch pedal adjustment

Is there a website relevant to the clutch pedal adjustment? When I need to shift into reverse or low I have to "jam" the gearshifter.
any suggestion for correcting this on 2002 F350 4x4

Well I don't think you can really adj. it because it is a Hydraulic system but you can change the way you drive it to make it not as bad if not fix the problem before going into low gear or reverse while in the stopped position try to go into a higher gear like third then while the clutch is still in in put it in that lower gear or reverse it will take a while to get used to but it works and also when your slowing up to stop don't just put it in neutral leave it in that higher gear when it starts to lug the motor down push the clutch in and stop while still in the higher gear then while you are Stopped go directly in to that lower gear this will allow your sychronizers in you tranny to last longer. Because while your jamming the shifter your also wear stuff out its not good to do all the time. Try this and if it does not work you might be in for a new Clutch

I don't know if a new clutch would fix this. It sounds more like synchros to me. Where is the friction point on your pedal? Make sure your pushing the clutch in far enough. The shifting strategies are a good idea.

You might also try sliding your seat forward one notch. That's about the only adjustment available with these hydraulic units.

By the way welcome to the site.

Thanks a lot. The problem is not severe enough to warrant thoughts about a new clutch at this time, just a nuisance.
