My 97 Ranger, 4 Cyl, Automatic. Has Just Developed A High Pitched Squeak/squeal Noise When I Shut Down The Engine. It Is Heard At The Very End When The Engine Is BEING Turned Off. It Is Not Really Loud, But It Is Noticable To Me, Any Advice Is Appreciated.

While your doing the belt check, maybe remove it & check out the condition of the belt idler & tensioner pully bearings & the water pump bearings.
They should be snug with no end play, or looseness or wobble on their shaft & should spin without noise or roughness.
My 94 Taurus 3.8L developed a "cricket" like chirp, that turned out to be the idler pully, with barely detectable wobble, or loosensess about it's shaft, I had to be paying close attention during inspection, or I'd have messd it.
If all that checks out ok, maybe inspect the mounting fastners & spin the P/S pump & alternator & see if anything suspicious turns up.
Just some more thoughts for your troubleshoot.

I checked everything you mentioned, but did not find a thing. When I noticed the squeak, it was on a cold start. I was moving the truck out of the driveway, so it had not run very long. I have taken it out twice since, and no squeak. I know squeaks just don't go away. But could it have been from the cold start to a quick turn off?
