Can't identify noise!!!!

2004 F150 4X4 96,000 mi.

Constant noise from driver rear side of truck, noticed with windows down at around 40 mph; almost sounds like a brake pad to rotor sound...but it's not. Noise does not get louder or change frequency with vehicle speed...

Thought about axle bearing, but no seal leaks...no squeak, and same frequency no matter what speed.

Thought about e-brake hanging-up....

Any ideas??? I'm stuck on what to tear apart!!!!!

It's not the fuel pump, is it? That it the one thing I can think of that would be constant.

1 second 2008drkstone's comment. if you've got a Screw, they cause some weird noises when 1 or 2 windows are down. mine makes some weird ones from 40+ mph also
