hey everybody, okay so long story short my passenger side window regulator (manual power) is toast and due to complications with finding one on the internet, i've decided to go ahead and order a power regulator with a motor. now i've always wanted to switch to power windows and figured i'd start with the passenger side. so anybody out there know if i need more than just some wiring, switches and the regulator/motor? like would i need any different kind of mounting? or will it just replace my existing regulator and then i wire it up from there? thanks for the help

depends are you ordering aftrmarket or factory? If the aftermarket kind that fits over the window crank I heard they were not worth the costs. Slow, unreliable. I put OEMS from a 97 in my 94 just wire the way the OEMS were, less the GEM moduals.
If you go with OEMs new or used its best to get the door panels as they are different from the roll ups plus have all the switches etc. I didnt put a relay in place but I need to, windows always hot key on or off. Work great however, only thing th at didnt work out were to power door locks, guess the actuators were too weak for use. I did put an separate fuse strip for all the seats, windows, door locks in under the hood.
thanks for the help, i'm buying oem style aftermarket regs and motors, and i'm thinking for switches it will be hot all the time because i'm lazy and i plan on putting the switches in the console so that they can be accessed from either seat and also i will need less switches (2 instead of 3) i'm thinking i'll just go to an electronics supply depot to find switches.
thanks again for the help.
