There's something weird about that pic (besides ths obvious)...That donkey appears to have cloven hooves...and donkeys don't have cloven hooves...

The sole looks to be split too...The donkey looks to be barefoot...And if by notch you mean a toe clip, it doesn't look anything like that to me...
