hey there fellow Excursion-ists.
I am looking for either a 2" or 3" suspension lift for a 2005 Diesel 2x2 Excursion....any ideas on where I might find this.
Every sight Ive been to list either a 4" or 6'
I also went to Off Road Warehouse and they were stumped.
Just swap out your POS OEM Ford springs for some F250/F350 springs and add the appropriate rear block and you could get a 2" lift! Especially if you use the W or X code springs on the front!
Really??? That seems almost too easy. I am in the same boat, but the wife doesn't want 4", only like 2 or 3. What about adjustable cams and all that stuff for those bigger lifts? Pretty much want to sit where my 4x4 X does.
If you do the very common spring swap (that most Excursion owners do) to eliminate the steering wander, it might give you the slight lift you're looking for. If not, (you'd get anywhere from 1.5" to 2" depending on the spring you use) you can then add the Donohoe kit http://www.donahoeracing.com/prod_detail.php?productID=9 and have a little more!

PS, in my earlier post above, I just realized I somehow put the wrong link up! The link in this post is the proper link
