Went to the local Pick-n-Pull and snagged me a e-fan out of a 90 Taurus , it is a single fan w/ shroud , was wondering what the easiest or the best way ,(open to pretty much any suggestions), this a project that I am gonna do in the next few weeks , so there is no big rush as I am planning on putting my MSD in tomorrow.Oh it is the one from a 3.8L, almost forgot to mention that.

Did you get the alternator from the same taurus? (You will need it) You can also get the fan controller and about a foot of the harness and connector too. The controller has the HD relay for the fan in it. Check my tech gallery for help with wiring etc. Good luck. I tried # 10 wire and it wasn't large enough. This can be a challenging project. I gave up on the taurus fan and am giong with aftermarket fans. I ordered them today. Also Skandocious has some info on this conversion.
Although some of those don't necessarily apply to our specific trucks, they are very informative and helped me immensely as I tried to learn how this whole project works.
Mike, get a picture of that fan up on the forum here so I can make sure it's the same as the one I got, 2-speed that is. Make sure to get a picture of the wiring in the picture
The way radialarm has it hooked up is way to complicated than what I need , I just need it to come w/ the A/C and when I sit in traffic, I don't know if it a 2 speed or not ,
And I still have the 95 amp alt,

HMMM, don't know if I want to go thru with this project seems alot of hassle for just a little MPG and a tiny bit of power.Gonna put this on hold til I get some help( not really electrically inclined), and not much money to spare on the extra's that are required , I just got done buying a MSD system , well had the 6a already but the wires .coil and such set me back a little. So thanks for helping , and might need it later on.

The DC controller is a nice product but very pricey for those of us on a budget.
Mike, I recommend not scrapping this project. The throttle response is incredible and the ~1mpg is an added benefit too. Let me know when you wanna get it going and I'll walk you trough the whole thing
