What does the fluid look like and smell like. Second do you have enough fluid in it. If the fluid is brown or has shiny metal pieces the trans is done. Do you have any codes? Will the truck move if you select manual 1st or 2nd gear?
yeah I checked ........if I put my foot almost all the down on the gas it will try to move................can it possibly be the pcm? what is the sensor on the transfer case for ?

Reason: not done
Code 311 means you didn't hold the throttle down long enough during test. Remove the connector on the tranny and check for corrosion, clean and put dielectric grease on it and reconnect it.
hold my foot down for what??? code 311 is thermactor air right side inoperable....I took the plug off on the mlp and also on the passenger side and cleaned it real good no difference I have never was able to get codes from the tranny,,,,only engine code(s) could my pcm be bad?? all I have is the ford code reader

The sensor is for pcm to know if you are in 4wheel drive or not and if its low range or high. I would check the trans connector for the corrosion or mud and pack it full of dielectric grease like advised before, had a similiar situation with my truck( supposedadly, don't ask). Check the wires from the pcm to the trans connector with a ohm meter would be my next step, and make sure you are getting full battery voltage as the supply to the trans. Thats about all I got aside from seeing a tranny guy.
