Heater core
I decided to tackle the heater core replacement and followed the insrtuctions on the site, very good guidance indeed. Well I had already purchased the core from AUTOZONE and then read the comments about the product. I got to looking at it and it is somewhat different and one of the tubes from the core is placed differently so the gasket won't fit as it should. I called the ford dealer and asked them about a replacment but he couldn't tell me if it was aluminum or not, so I balked as it was a special order and pay up front etc. I just don't want to pay $97 + and find out it is not aluminum and slightly differnet. I need to know who has the aluminum ones, if anyone. Suggestions.
