Making it more obnoxious
Whats up people? Cool site so far. Yep, Im a new guy. But anyway, I have a 2006 F350 (actually bought new a few months ago. Dealer still had it on the lot) with the 6.0 powerstroke and I just love the way the engine sounds but I want to make it louder. I have already replace the cold air intake and that help with the whistling of the turbo. Actually thats more of what Im looking for. I want to hear the turbo scream. Im guessing opening the exhaust will make it louder but is there any thing else? I was told changing the down pipe on the turbo will make it cool sounding as well. Any thing else? Thats not going to cost a arm and leg?

Welcome to FTE Bowhunter! You got it, opening up the exhaust will really allow you to hear that turbo scream.
