2002 7.3ltr keeps stalling??
My friends 2002 7.3 ltr stalled on the way to work this morning about 5 times. He said it stalls all the time when its raining out, it was raining on the way to work this morning. It stalls when the rpm are low, like when were coming down a hill and the rpm drops it will stall. He also said sometimes at red lights it will stall.so I told him my friends at Ford Trucks.com will help him solve the mystry!! what do you guys figure?? His engine light has been coming on also but he said before the engine light comes on it will sputter or jerk a couple of times, then the engine light will come on then it will sart stalling at low rpm.?

I would try the CPS but it sounds like injector problems. Based on age and I am not sure what part of the country you are in but if they are selling the new Ultra-low sulfer diesel that will cause problems with the injectors.

replace the cam position sensor.
