Cool Need Help

I have an 03 6.0 When I start it in the morning it puffs out white smoke and runs really rough with a major loss in power Does anyone know what this could be

Are you losing coolent? Are you running a tuner? May be blown head gaskets....or leaking EGR cooler.

I am not losing coolant It does the same thing with or without the tuner after it idles for a minute or so it seems to run fine?????

mine did the same thing, get some cetan booster and it cured itself, same truck and year

I tried diesel kleen at the dosage on the bottle What additive did you use and at what dosage Thanks

Try double or triple dose Diesel Kleen or better yet try biodiesel. Make sure you're oil level is at the MIN mark on dipstick and no more than 5000 miles between oil changes.

When was the last time you had your truck flashed. If never, or it has been forever then I bet it is injector stiction like npcc said. I think the latest flash is for this exact problem. Take it to the dealer and get it checked out.

I need help 03 6.0 keep getting codes first one is p0603 sec. is p0401 what is the fix for these code i cleard them but they came back after i drove to work about 35 miles

P0401 is a sticking or stuck EGR sensor. P0603 is a trash code.

great* 0603 is a kam error. do you have a programmer or did you disconnect the batteries? that can cause a kam code. clean the egr and maybe that 0401 will go away.
