Smile Trailer Mirrors

Just Removed My Power/signal Paddle Style Mirrors From My 2005 Ex And Installed Aftermarket Telescopic Mirrors. Now The Truck Looks Much Better, I Don't Think The Ex Looks Right With The Paddle Mirrors. I Purchased Them From "automotive Mirrors" For $103.00 Each. They Are Made By Koolvue Mirrors, However, They Do Not Have The Side Marker Lights, But They Look Great.

No Pics, But They Are No Different Then The Tow Mirrors On The Superduty And Ex Trucks Already Out There. I Would Have Really Like To Have Bought The Tow Mirrors With The Signals, but They Were Twice As Much.

Just last week, I had my stock paddle side view mirrors removed from my '01 and had the mirrors with signals of an '03 F350 (probably the same for an X, or super duty). It was not a direct plug in and took some time to read out the wires. But the view is excellent. I wanted to keep the signal function and I wanted to have some confidence in the parts, so I decided to keep it Ford stock. List price for the pair (the covers are extra) came to $795.00 (that was signal feature, adjustable mirrors and heated glass). I didn't pay quite that much though. I didn't like the price, but I love the function.

Happy Trails, Gary

Go on Ebay and you'll find the Ford knock of mirrors. Thinking $160 plus $30 to ship so about what the poster paid.

Three years ago looked for replacement tow mirrors for the X since one was cracked and found a seller on Ebay with 50 sets of Ford OEM trailer tow mirrors. They were telescoping with heat but only folded in and didn't have the turn signals. $153 shipped, only bought one set. A lot of Ebayers were buying mulitipul sets. Right now I bet you could get $225 for a set, there were OEM mirrors from the manufacturer from Aulstralia but didn't come in Ford boxes.

the link is https:www.automotivemirrors.com

i purchased mirrors on ebay a few years ago for my old excursion, they were not ford oem mirrors, they really were not good quality. i guess like anything, you need to be careful of who is selling the items. i would have liked to see that site with the oem ford mirrors, always best to have ford products. my mirrors are made by koolvue, power, heated, folding and telescopic.
