Not sure but I just did mine recently. Firest if you have never had a chip in there you will have to remove the pcm from under the hood. You will have to take the inner fenderwell loose to get it out. Just disconnect the batteries and unplug the pcm loosen the fenderwell and take off the two nuts that hold it in the firewall. Slide the pcm out and put on workbench. You will now remove the plastic or rubber square plug on the back of it and you will see where the chip connects. These contacts will have to be scraped because they have a thick clear coating on them be sure to get it all off but be sure not to scrape the contacts off. I think I used a small razor. Then reinstall the pcm back in the truck. Then go to next step.
This is where you wil start if you have alredy had a chip in there or you have done the preceeding. Remove the kickpanel that covers the E-brake and remove the e-brake (3 nuts). Be sure the brake is NOT set at this time. Lay the brake on the floor while leaving the cable connected to it. You just need enough room to get behind it with your hand. You will then see the contacts in the pcm that were cleaned in the previous paragraph. You will plug the chip in to the pcm.
At this time you will need to mount the switch somewhere. I mounted mine to the left of the steering wheel but that required removal of some plastic framework from behind the dash. Some people mount it to the right of the fuse panel fairly easy.
Now you run the wire and plug it into the chip and put it all back togeher in the reverse order you removed it.
Now connect the batteries crank the truck and HOLD ON. TW is an awesome chip and will surprise you.
Good luck and post back if you have any questions.
Thanx dude. It seems everytime I read one of your posts it deserves a beanie. Oh well I tried to count the cycle and I think you need to rep 20 times before you can rep again. I think. Never was good in grade school counting class. LOL
