A 390 doesn't come from a bored 360, also look at the trim line beween the cab and bed it looks like the cab mounts are wasted. This makes one wonder what else is hidden in big dollar repairs.

352,360,390,428,410 mercury.All are same block,different stroke.i have a 390 block,428 crank= 410 cubic inch,no boring. 360/390/410 had 4.05 bore. the 390 has a 3.78 stroke,352 has a 3.30 strokex 4.00 bore. 428=3.98strokex4.13 bore.thnx

I bet it was expensive for that truck on craigslist to get 4.211" oversize pistons or a .161" overbore. Specal block to go that far without striking water?
