stock specs?

What are the some of the stock ranges for things on our truck like oil pressure (low pressure side), oil temp, water temp, max boost and hp/torque?

Also, is it normal for a stock truck, thats straight piped with the wastegate unhooked to hit 24-25 psi?

I don't think you can make that kind of boost stock. I was making 20 with my superchip, now I make 30 with dp-tuner.

You will be suprised at the power once you get a few mods going.
Good luck

oil temp- 190-220
trans temp- 150-210
oil pressure 20 idle to 55psi above idle
water temp- 195-215.
Boost 12-18 depending on condition of turbo and engine
Hp around 190 at the wheels, torque around 440ish at the wheels.

I definately am....maybe the previous owner put a chip in

Oh, what about egt's? It thought mine were pretty normal until the other day when I was stuck waiting at a train crossing. About 85 degrees out and I had it in park for 10 minutes. The gauge read 200-250. Does that sound right? Thanks for the replies guys.

No that's not right. Combustion temperatures at idle when the engine is running shouldn't be much less than 350, not any lower than 300 i'd like to think.

If I let mine idle for about 5 minutes, it will run at 200-250*.

That's a "feature" of a DP tune. Jody told me that it's normal for his tunes to have an idle EGT in this range. When I idle for 10 min before unhooking the 5er, mine goes down to 175*! His tune also idles at a little higher RPM than stock, and that might have something to do with the lower EGT, along with more efficient timing which requires less fuel. I need to remember to switch to my fast idle setting after I back into a spot, but I keep forgetting to use it.

It may not be normal but I would think it is possible for a stock truck with the WG disabled to see 24 psi depending on how the gauge is hooked up. I have also noticed that my truck will idle down to a cooler egt with the DP than before. You just may have a chip or tune in there.

That would make for a great birthday present I have the gauge hooked up with a t in map line right near the oil fill (the way diesel manor shows it). It used to only hit about 21, but then I pulled the muffler off at the joint under the bed. Btw, that made putting the fuel tank back up MUCH easier.
