While they did make 79 F-350 4x4's. You can clearly see the 2wd engine crossmember and the front leaf spring mounts are fabricated. So if it truly was a F-350 is would have a Dana 70 rear axle and no self respecting offroader would replace that with a weaker Dana 60. Dana 60 = F-250.
