Running engine from the inside perspective
Saw this on the Jalopy board. Very interesting to a person like me who knows little mechanically but likes to learn.

I had an instructor ask me how the engine oil system worked. His question was, "If I were a drop of oil in the oil tank, tell me everything I see as I travel through the oil system".
My answer - "Uuumm? Well, Its hot and, uuummm, really dark"
