Hey guys. I have a 2000 f350 with dp tuner and 5" exhaust. I also have a pro comp 6.5" lift and 37" toyo muds. I was out 4x4ing on the weekend and I was going up a steep hill when the engine all of a sudden shut off. So I rolled backwards down the hill with no power brakes or steering. When I got to the bottom I put it in park and it started right up. I have the overboost anhililator. My question is: did it defuel or did something else happen?
it hasnt given me any trouble other than on the steep hill. Around town its fine. Would the CPS or injector harness give me trouble all the time or just under a load like going up a steep hill?
My CPS would only act up when I hit hard bumps & then not even very time I hit the same bumps............. Changed it out & been good for over a year sooooo who knows???? I was just saying it could be a possibility, electronic gremlins can be very mysterious criters.
My truck defueled a couple times while towing & it just lost power..... but didnt shut off.
thanks guys. Anybody got the part number for it. I think I remember reading that there is a cheap one out now. I live in canada, is it the same price here?
